On the leading article of January, 2001 of "Le Monde diplomatique" was announcing: "The new century begins in Porto Alegre. All those who, in one way or another, cast doubt on of judgment or criticize the neoliberal globalization are going to meet, in this city of the south of Brazil, where there will be celebrated the I World Social Forum [...] it is a question of trying, in a positive and constructive spirit, to raise a different globalization and of affirming that a less inhuman and more united world is possible. This meeting is realized at the same time in which it is celebrated in Davos (Switzerland), the World Economic Forum, which assembles, for several decades, the new owners of the world "

From then until the World Social Forum in Kenya seven years have passed. The protagonists and participants, of then and now, analyze this process and tell us how to achieve this another possible world. They remind us that the social inequality, the human rights and the environment, between others, are an issue of all of us and that, the citizens of the whole world are who must assume the responsibility of changing them. A political and human documentary, full of reflections, proposals and dreams, some of them turned into reality.
